Mr Short Term Memory – I forgot how steep this is!

I did this hike over a year ago, and I forgot how steep this is.  I was in much better shape back then.   I started at 7 AM with dog Mr. Riggs, and my son Aidan. We were blessed with cloud cover for most of the trip up.   We are all super tired.  My Garmin told me that I’ve burned over 3000 cal.  We made it to the top to see an American flag has been placed. Last time I did this hike, I did the short Detour Over to El Capitan Peak. This time we stopped by the old mines. We ended up doing some calorie replenishment at East bound bar and Grill in Lakeside.
