Mt. Wilson lives up to its reputation. It’s a challenging hike with a wonderful amount of scenic variety.

I tackled this peak on a Friday…and had the whole trail to myself once beyond First Water and Orchard Camp.

The trails are very well marked, in great condition, and plenty of sections with shade cover. It was a nice balance overall.
