Mount Diablo Hike

Hot. The climb was incredibly strenuous with lots of incline. We immediately took the wrong trailhead at first, which set us back at least 1/2 an hour. The climb to Twin Peaks and Eagle Peak took a lot out of us, then there was the climb toward Prospector’s Gap which was long. Upon finally reaching the visitor’s center at the top, we took a nap. The way down was rough on the knees, but was much quicker; took about 2 hours vs the climb up which was around 6.
