I left at 7:30 AM out of the state park parking lot. I use to the QPR code to pay my fee. This hike was very chill. Definitely not as challenging as El Cajon peak. I avoided the paved road as much as possible and took the Azalea Loop, Trail, and los Conejos Trail to the top trail was in good condition and an easy warm-up for the 1st mile and a half, and had some good shade early in the morning beneath, towering pines, incense, cedar, and Valley Oaks. There were very few people on the trail. I met some people on horseback on the way down, who were working to clear a couple of logs off the trail. View from the top was spectacular and this was hike number three.
