Overall, it is a really nice work out. We took the route counter clock wise which seemed to be easier. The way back gets pretty steep, so having hiking sticks helps a lot with your knees. There are some bugs, but they are manageable. Bring a lot of water because by 9 am the weather gets a warmer. I would give this hike a 8 out 10 in terms of difficulty.
