Dawson Saddle is my preferred route to summit Baden-Powel. It has better views, more varied terrain, and is less crowded.
Hitting the trail at 7am I had the trail entirely to myself the whole way up to Baden-Powell. The morning temperature was perfect and feeling a bit more ambitious, I decided to bag both Throop and Barnham. On Throop, Barnham, and most of the PCT to Baden-Powell it was pretty windy, although it never really got too cold or uncomfortable. In contrast Baden-Powell was relatively calm with only a slight breeze at times.
