We started at 7am and skirted by a few other hikers. The weather was absolutely perfect. Not chilly enough for long sleeves and the yoga pants were a perfect choice for the run back down post summit. We enjoyed the twists and turns and the shade made the path all the more tolerable when it did heat up a bit later. When we got to the summit we had a quick bite and helped other hikers nab photos then it was back to it. This time when the feels of the 7 miles started to kick in we felt like picking up the pace and giving it a bit of a jaunt. So we alternated between running and walking. All in all it was a glorious trail. One I would highly recommend for anyone who wants to work those legs and lungs! We did it in 5:55 minutes (which was allllllll the way back to the car)! It does have a bit of stretch before you hit the starting line.
