We started the hike just before 7am and made our way to the top just before 12:30pm! This hike was a tough one for sure, my legs were burning! The trail is easy to follow especially if you have looked at the trail map. There were fires that went through the trail so in some parts there is ash on the ground and burnt trees. It was kind of spooky looking which is great for getting in the Halloween spirit. Weather was beautiful, virtually no wind at the top! Left some propel packets at the top for anyone who might need it. No one was on the trail on this Monday which was so peaceful and a nice change compared to the other peaks we have summited this year. This hike is long so bring enough water and a windbreaker in case the wind picks up at the top, and always check the weather! 5 out 6 peaks complete! I would rate this an 8 out 10 in difficulty, it was the hardest one so far.
