Seriously do yourself a favor and hike this trail! It is absolutely my favorite trail to date! It’s so beautiful, the Aspen’s are changing color and you walk through a canopy of bright yellow leaves.
then you have plenty of shade and the pine trees. there were some downed trees that were blocking the trail that looks like they have fallen due to all the rain in the area. This trail is just so fun and so many things just see how long your way to the top. It was such a thrill to see the little wooden cabin at almost the top of Kendrick. When you’re at the cabin you’re 10 minutes from the summit and it’s just so exciting to know you’re almost there. It’s a nice gradual climb almost to the top about the last 500 yards is a lot more steeper than the rest of the trail.
when you reach the top and the views are breathtaking absolutely mind blowing!! There’s a flat looks like patio area that you can go stand out on and have you is 360°
this is one hike you’ll never forget!
