Great weather for the day hike.  Got an early start so the trail wasn't busy.  Went up and back rather than hiking the loop.  Once we reached Devil's Backbone trail the wind started gusting pretty hard and pretty much stayed with us all the way to the peak which made for a a chilly hike.  Views inland were amazing but the marine layer hanging over the coast limited what we could see in that direction.  Highly recommend the ski-lift on the way up.
