Big Bad Bern

We left Angelus Oaks at 7am, which was slightly too late for me. We started full power with a speed of 3 miles/hour, over the first hour! We then switched to cruising mode (2 miles/hour). The manzanita flats were really enjoyable to go through. Quick morning break by the good old wheelbarrow! Quick detour by Washington Monument. We reached the peak by 11:30am. Some people came and go, lil chit chat, few pictures, lunch break and off we went down! 3 hours downhill, we were troopers! No time to waste, I don’t do well with heat, sun and dust.
