Where are the Hot Springs anyway?  This is hike #5  of the Six Pack o Peaks. They say this is the highest Point in San Diego County. I Paid the Los coyotes reservation fee via the website ahead of time. I headed out just after 8 am with my canine pal Mr Riggs.   It was in the low 40s when we started.  I would consider this a dog friendly hike.

Overall, I thought the hike was awesome. Some shade after about mile two. Beautiful oaks, and  pines.  Amazing vistas.

Not too many bugs when I started. However, about halfway up, I was stung twice by yellow jackets. That’s never happened to me before. I talked to two other people at the top, and the same thing happened to them. And on the way back down, the bugs must’ve woken up. I took the “quiet trail” and guess what? It was very quiet. It also had some bugs.

I grabbed onto the rope to go all the way up to the tippy top. It was more scary coming down. My dog, Mr. Riggs was wondering where I was going. Ha ha.

I might even come back here someday it was that great.
