This may have been my favorite so far of the hikes I have done. I started at 5 am. There were a decent about of people starting. I have to say everyone was polite and seem to of been enjoying the hike as much as I was. Overall this hike wasn’t as challenging as I expected it to be. Once the sun came up I was able to appreciate the beauty around me. It was bitterly cold till the last quarter of the hike. I’d suggest lots of layers w a good jacket, gloves, and even a face mask to help keep warm. I can’t wait to go back and do it again. Trail was well maintained, and they have a great resting stop between 3 different trail heads.
