Wow, we made it, another peak in Southern California. We drove from Irvine at 5:00am sharp and got to the trailhead before 6:30pm, about the sunrise.

The mountain looks unique in the earlier morning. My friend and I enjoy the mountain view very much. Before we take the first break for our light breakfast from our backpack we already covered 4 miles. The trail was surprisingly friendly. The sign and mark from the wildfire was still there, can be clearly seen, but the new life starts to grow too. How amazing! A disaster to us is never being a disaster to the nature which just keep changing.

The 2 miles to the peak turns out to be hard and it's always. About 1:10pm, as always too, we made it. Yahoo……another bravo! We enjoy the gorgeous view on the both side of the ridge. We can surprisingly see Bear Lake, Perris Reservoir……

We finished lunch on the top, took our summit pictures with the board to hold. About 1:50pm we headed down. It was a long way. Our legs and ankles started getting hurt. The last 2 miles sound like 10 miles.

At 5:50pm we got back to the parking lot. It was a long day, but we are so excited that we MADE IT!
