We started before sun up and finished just after sun down at the Angeles Oaks past the fire station on a mostly clear day. About 2/3 of the way up, the clouds and winds rolled in. It started a cold rain and ice about a mile from the peak. We got to the peak at 2pm (I am still building my stamina). The temperature was just above freezing. I was looking forward to the view but couldn't see much from the clouds. It was still satisfying to conquer this peak! It was not as difficult, in my opinion, as San Jacinto or San Gorgonio. I loved this hike for the beautiful mountain views. At a certain point, you can see over the mountains to the north and see Big Bear Lake.
