Wilson Peakit, “In the Midnight Hour.”

Since we live in San Diego, our drive to the trailhead took an hour 45 minutes. We began our hike about 9:30 AM in low 50 degree weather. Once, accidentally, we veered off the trail a bit, which later the next day lead to a touch of poison oak! Otherwise, the trail was clearly marked. We summited about 1:28 PM. Because of the short days, we ran all the way down to beat the darkness.
