This was a really pretty hike. The bugs were pretty bad. Thankfully, we had bug nets and even had an extra we gave to another hiker we met along the way. The last climb up to the peak is up a latter and over some boulders. I wish I had gloves to protect my hands and better pants that wouldn't snag to make it easier to scramble up the boulders as the pitch isn't really safe. If you lean back at all, you can easily fall quite a few feet.
I did think, based on reviews, that there would be less ups and downs after the first few miles. The trail actually had more steep ups throughout the trail.
