Weaving Towards the Needle

What a stunning day for a hike! Started out sunny yet cool, but it didn’t take long until the body warmed up.
Love this trail as it weaves through the valley steadily increasing in incline.
There was SO MUCH water flowing near the trail, and in a few places you cross over the water’s path.
It was really cool to see the water flow, as I had only ever hiked Peralta Trail during a dryer season.
Parking was tight, and as expected, the trail busy. Rangers were at the trailhead readily answering questions.
The trail is very well maintained and easy to follow.
