1/14/2023. Back-to-back hike at Volcan & Cuyamaca mountains. With rain in the forecast at a later time, we tried to at least complete the hike before the heavy down pour…and we did except the last half a mile away from our cars. We got soaked a bit even with appropriate gear/attire 🙁 Then off we went to the best part of this particular hike…Julian town for the apple pie!!
