We chose a very chilly misty day, and climbed in cloud cover, which meant we had zero views. However, we so rarely get misty weather in So Cal this was a rare opportunity for us.
we parked at Redbox around 7am, the cold meant few hikers were out. Trail was in great condition even after the rains. Poles were a huge plus for some of the scrambling over the rocks. At the summit ice was forming on the bushes which was very cool to see.
