We went the day after heavy rains and the trail was in good condition. It was very cold between 35-45. It was very cold and windy at the summit. Over all it’s a great hike. The first 2 ish miles are pretty easy. The last 1.6 or so are challenging with many peaks and some scrambly areas. We all used poles.
