Piestawa Summit

Finally got to Piestewa Peak Trailhead this morning! It is definitely chilly today, but this challenging trail got me warmed up real quick! I was thankful for my headband that covered my ears with the cold wind.  This is a busy trail even on a Friday morning. Good elevation gains from the start with steady incline.  It is such a short hike and it seemed so easy in the beginning that I had to take a break about 2/3 of the way up due to being overzealous with my speed.
