Today we hiked the volcan mountain trail and our first hike of the year.  To our surprise, the inclines felt like they never ended.  We had thought there might be wildflowers blooming, but instead we were met with snow.  A nice surprise that made the hike very unexpected.  We saw lots of dogs on the trail, and were happy when we made it to the summit, although we could not find anything that said summit, so we continued through the round about realizing that we made it to the summit.
