Mile 1 snow free, mile 2 patches of snow, mile 3 snow all the way to the top. The first 2.5 miles steady incline afterwards the trail flattens. Beautiful and peaceful, hardly any hikers. Snow was soft, did not need to use microspikes. The views of snow covered mountains were enjoyable. Last time we were here the wind was so frigid we could not stay or see anything. Today we had perfect hiking weather, not a bit of wind.
Hike more, worry less!
