If you like Southern California chaparral you are in luck! While it's not my favorite, I do enjoy this hike – especially with good company. The views of Wilson, Baldy, and (I think San Gorgonio) are amazing. The clouds continued to roll in throughout the morning which was beautiful to behold. The recent rains have made the mostly sandy trail a little more rocky.
