Perfect hiking temps in the high 50s.  Great views off the mountain top.  Loved the historical nod to the CalTech observatory and the unstoppable postal service taking to air delivery soon after aviation got off the ground.  Great way to earn the brew, BBQ, and Mom’s Apple pie post hike.
