Began this hike with enthusiasm. We expected some snow ❄️ on the trail. Forecast mention a little rain 🌧️ before 8am and then clear skies at about 2 pm. We hit snow  about a mile and a half into the trail. In about two miles we put micro spikes on. We hiked  in 1 1/2 to 2/1/2 of snow all the way up to the summit. Right before the summit we had snow up to 3 feet. It was challenging getting to the highest point.  We had no views but the snow experience was awesome. The sun never came out and it took us twice as long to finished.
