It was nice to get out on the trail after so many rainy weekends. Trail was in good condition, with a few muddy/slippery spots. Well-groomed trail with a gentle slope and easy switchbacks. Parking at the Bald Mountain trailhead is quite limited. That’s why we drove to the top and did the hike in reverse — down and then up. Pretty easy 7 miles. We could have hiked more.
