The trail is covered in snow starting about a mile up. I wore microspikes but it’s not necessary. Trekking poles came in handy when the snow became slushy. We had to be careful going under some of the trees due to big chunks of ice falling off of them. It was very windy and cold at the peak. We could not find the peak sign. This was a very easy hike.
