Started my hike just before sunrise so I could enjoy some quiet on the mountain before the crowds, and I’m so glad I did; the hiking and wildflower crowds flooded into Picacho Peak State Park and the trails early… but not before I was able to enjoy some calm and quiet at the summit and most of the way back down. The sunrise and wildflowers were beautiful and so worth it.
