What a perfect warm day for a hike in January. From the time the sunrise all the way to the observatory the views were spectacular today. This was my first time hiking the Mt. Wilson trail and it’s a well maintained trail although there were a couple of landslides covering the trail so be cautious but it was easily passed. Today was a damned clear day and you could see Santa Monica, Catalina Island, Mt. San Jacinto, Mt. San Gorgonio, Mt. Baldy… Just an epic day to be on the trail and looking out over the peaks and the cities.
