It was great – we went clockwise, up the steeper part of the loop first. It was the cooler side, more single track, and loads of stream crossings. The weather was perfect – low to mid-60's, mostly sunny. Didn't see a ton of people – very inspiring to be in the company of some 50K runners. Coming down was mostly fire road – easy-peasy glide on down the mountain. Views were just amazing, and super interesting to learn about the history of Mt. Diablo.
