I was concerned the weather elements would be intimidating.  Fortunately conditions were milder than others reported a few weeks ago.  It was fun!  And I finally got to try out my microspikes for a section.  Some snow still on the trail sides, then covering the trail on Conejos towards the fireroad and again covering the fireroad in a few places.  Some of the uphill on Azalea Glen Loop trail was stepping stones within runoff streams.  Fun!  At the ranger's suggestion we stopped off at Green Valley Falls on the way out.  I don't think I've ever seen the falls with that much water!
