Hiked with a partner

Hiked with my family. Got about 3/4 of a mile from the top and just could not go any further. The temps got pretty warm that day and there is absolutly no shade on this trail. I have enjoyed every bit of this challenge and wish I could have completed the last hike but I gave it my best effort. I am glad I turned around when I did, I was over heated and over exhausted. Knowing your limits is more important than finishing a hike.

I am looking forward to the next winter challenge to explore more wonderful trails in AZ and hopefully I will be ablet o completed all the peaks!!
