El Cajon, grinding it out….

El Cajon Mountain with the side trip to El Capitan. Hands down my least favorite of the San Diego six pack but I decided I hadn’t been in the mountains in a while so why not have a sufferfest… it’s actually a beautiful area and trail but it is a constant up and down over and over again. The trail is also extremely steep in many sections and fully exposed. There was some water running up there which was cool but those last few hills on the way back are just cruel.
