Cuyamaca via Azalea Glen Loop

Definitely glad I did the loop rather than up and back the brutal, paved fire road. The trail portion was beautiful with short areas of running water across or along the trail. The shade of the trail was also appreciated and the varied terrain made it a much more interesting hike. Don’t know if it would be as beautiful of a hike when things aren’t as green as they still are out there…and next time would probably do up-and-back on the trails even though it adds a few miles.
