Started the trail a little later in the morning than expected, but still early enough to see very few hikers in the area. Had a stranger ask if I wanted to hike the superstition ridgeline, which I insisted on not being fully prepared to hike but agreed to reaching the flatiron peak together. Kept up really solid pace with him and felt super accomplished reaching the top. The flowers looked remarkable along the way and the morning breeze helped make the weather more bearable. Had an epic time from base to top (2hr:40mins) and celebrated with an array of photos to soak on the view. Was too challenging to consider doing it again so soon, but perhaps my next visit will include more lengthy trails!
