First time attempting this hike and it did not disappoint. Definitely challenging. Beautiful views. There were a couple points on the trail that felt a bit sketchy to me, but overall the trail was in great condition. No snow. Sunny and warm today, but we started early, so it wasn’t too bad heat wise. The bugs were definitely in full force though. Once past Orchard Camp, you couldn’t stop for a second without those little guys dive bombing your face. We did forgot the bug spray and nets though, so lesson learned.
