I'd never been to Mission and a friend warned me it “could be pretty busy.”

I've rarely seen so many day hikers anywhere else.  The trail was packed.  I thinned things out for myself by running most of my trek.   Started and ended in the fog and popped out into sunshine for the 1/3 closest to the peak.
