It was a much hotter day than expected. Yes, the bugs were annoying, but we never had to stop and put on headnets on. Although there were a few people wearing them. It was pretty warm, but as usual, once we approached the summit a nice breeze kicked up. We followed the hike by a couple of glasses of wine at Volcan Mountain Winery (a block away). It was a great day!
