We were above the gloom and looked down upon the clouds and could see the snow covered peaks of Baldy, San Gorgonio and San Jacinto.  Very green and lots of flowers.  Surprisingly, we were not bothered by bugs this time.  Our jeep went over a lot of water on the way up.  A good hike!
