Cuyamaca Peak

The weather was perfect. We made a loop of it starting at Paso Picacho Campground, then left to the Conejos Trail for about 4 miles, then right onto the asphalt fire road. About 1/2 mile to the peak from there. Scrambled in the bushes to find the sign to the right of the towers. We then took the fire road back to the campground. A descent all the way. My fitness tracker logged 8.28 miles. Check for ticks afterwards. I had one and so did my friend.
