Fun hike.  First couple miles are really easy.  The last mile and a half up to the peak are steep with rock and sand.  It’s all exposed so wear sunscreen, cover up and bring plenty of water.  There are several signs that mark the peak.   We saw lots of swallowtails and flowers.  A deer ran across our path at one point.  Such a great day with my wife.
