Started around 6:20am there was good cloud cover for the first few miles. After a nice first 1/2 mile, the next 2. 5 miles were intense. Single track, lots of rocks, pretty steep.

Once we got to the fire road, it was better, but of course, it kept going up and exposed to sun and got hotter even its only 8 am to the point of a peak. We only saw two more other single female hiker and met one on the summit.

Still a beautiful hike except for the flies. This are annoying horse flies . These were super flies that bites.I wish I knew it was flies not just other bugs. I did made myself a bugs sprays but not worked with annoying flies. And the nets my friend ordered from Amazon didn’t came on time for this hike!

Took us 6:50 hours of hiking.. 30 minutes break, eat, took photos and relax  from the top taking in the beautiful views from the summit. Took half the time going down the trail.
