Wild flowers are really starting to bloom! It’s a short but steep hike! But the views are amazing once you hit the saddle. Be aware there isn’t much shade from there to the summit. We had a cool cloud that blocked most of the sun while above the tree line. Trail is very well marked with yellow diamonds. Took us about 2 hours.

Views of the Valles Caldera, Sandias and even Santa Fe in the distance.
