Snow free

The hike started out with a gradual incline that gradually continued for about 7 miles till we reached the summit. We took the same trail downhill to reach the parking lot. Poles would have been useful especially for downhill, many slippery dirt and gravel areas.
I was surprised that there are still many wildflowers blooming. And we spotted about three different butterfly species. It was a beautiful day to be out.
