This was one of the hardest hikes I have ever done mostly because it was pouring rain and despite having a poncho and waterproof gear was soaked through by my 2nd mile.  As challenging as it was it was truly an experience I will never forget.  I've always done hikes in optimal weather before with my only issues being bugs…this was next level difficulty with scaling wet boulders on the way up and walking through 3 inches of water on the way down…I wasn't able to see any views, just a blankness of white windy mist that made me feel I was in a different dimension.  I would like to do this mountain again someday when it's a bit more forgiving.
