Get there early or you'll have to park on the side of the road and walk a bit (1/4 mile) to the trailhead. There are 2 restrooms in the parking lot right at the trailhead which is always needed after a thermos of coffee😉 We got there around 7:30 and started at 8am. Took our time on the Icehouse trail, ate at the saddle and met some fellow 6pack hikers ( Val and Hannah). We summited around 1pm I think …and backtracked down Icehouse.  Chapman trail would be a good alternate trail down/up but adds a couple miles.  We soaked our feet in the ice cold mini- rapids about a mile from the trailhead before heading home. Beautiful fun day as always!
