Started at sunrise. Weather was not cold at all. Had a jacket just in case but didn’t need it at all. Since we decided to make this hike little more challenging we all carried extra 30lb vest or goruck backpack for ladies and 40-60lb extra for man. We stopped every 2 miles and added a group workout. By the time we reached the summit sun was out so view was just breathtaking. Since we took the trail to Makers Flat on the way down we hit few patches of snow but didn’t need any extra snow gear as it was melting already.
We all walked to the waterfall on the way down for a cold plunge. Tired after rucking 10miles at elevations gain of almost 4000 feet but feeling so accomplished.
Even thought I had hiked Mt.Baldy before this beast of a mountain is always a treat to hike. #beautifulypainful
