The trail was clear for the 1st mile or so but the rest of the assent was practically hiking up a waterfall.  It was only misty out but the day before it rained over an inch so every step took total concentration.  There were no views at the summit except a blanket of wispy clouds and mist with a great deal of wind.  That is not to say that there wasn’t stunning things to see throughout the hike.  I will however make sure the conditions are more favorable next time I come to Vermont ????
